Self Operating and Weather Adaptable Street Lights

This is the science project I've made in class 12th in 2012 under the category of Energy Conservation and stood first at school level and was further selected for the regional level at Kendriya Vidyalaya Salt Lake no. 2. But I failed to get selected any further so out of anger I broke my project. This is just the circuit arrangement which I have captured in this video and it's completely working. Documentation of this project can be seen here . Description: As the name suggests this system can adapt to the brightness of the environment and emit proper amount of light. Whenever there is complete darkness the LED gets automatically turned on and whenever there is enough light, the LED goes off. Hence conserving the electricity which gets wasted due to the idleness of common people or their ignorance due to which the lights are kept on even when there is no use of it. The Pulitzer Prize 2015

The winners of 99th edition of Pulitzer Prizes were announced on 20th April,2015 at the Columbia University. The administrator of Pulitzer, Mike Pride made the announcement and it was also streamed live on youtube in a channel named Pulitzer Prize announcement 2015. This year the Pulitzer office received roughly 1,200 journalism entries, 1,400 books, 200 music compositions and 100 plays considered.Two categories, investigative reporting and feature writing, were opened to magazines this year, which prompted 60 additional entries. The process of selection starts from Pulitzer jury which comprises of expert authors, scholars, photo journalists, poets, composers and critics. Some of them are Pulitzer prize winners themselves. They select three best works from each category in no order of preference. Then the finalists go to the 18 member Pulitzer prize board which deeply scans and observes each work to declare the winner with proper voting. The debates and discussions...
