Apple's OS X El Capitan promulgated at WWDC 2015

On 2nd June, Apple announced the latest operating system OS X El Capitan for the Macintosh at the WWDC 2015 keynote. Gestures have been added to ameliorate user experience. For instance, mails can the archived or deleted by just flicking the mouse in the Mail app. Apple's senior vice-president for software engineering Craig Federighi publicized a new feature called "Pinned sites" for the Safari browser. Favorite websites can now be pinned by dragging it to the left, which will later open in new tab for the convenience. The Spotlight search in El Capitan will now understand natural languages. On the performance front, Mac OS X El Capitan is 1.4 times quicker in launching apps and 40% faster in rendering graphics (Thanks to the new Metal technology). There has been a phenomenal uplift for the User Interface (UI)of Mission Control, all the windows can now be arranged just by dragging the mouse. (Source-TOI)

Apple iOS 9 rolled out!

Tech giant Apple unveiled it's latest operating system for it's iconic i-Phones and i-Pads this Tuesday, June 2nd. Top features of the premium brand's OS are:- Now multiple apps can be opened at the same time with iOS 9 on i-Pads. Two apps can be opened up simultaneously on the same screen in the format of 50:50 or 70:30 via drag-n-drop. Apple maps will be now equipped to provide transit directions. It also comprises of location cards which can search for and return the restaurants that support Apple Pay. The new low power mode in iOS 9 has promised the users to enhance the battery life by 3 hours. The users will be overwhelmed to know that the free space required to installing iOS 9 has been reduced from 4.6 GB (for iOS 8) to just 1.8 GB. (source-TOI)
